My Hawaii

My Hawaii is the indie pop project of Los Angeles musician Yohei Shikano, built from layers of warmth, nostalgia, and quiet experimentation. Drawing on exotica, the Beach Boys, and spaghetti westerns, the music creates a world that feels both sun-drenched and slightly out of time.

Rooted in the Atwater Village neighborhood of Los Angeles, My Hawaii has cultivated a devoted following through carefully crafted releases, including the 2013 EP Definition of Friends.
